Many designers tend to draw inspiration from the military when working with hues in the olive family. It is expected and, for the most part, boring and repetitive. So it was a surprise to see the color featured so heavily in the
Richard Chai Love collection without the models looking as if they were about to march off to battle.
There were skirts with flared hems and front slits, digital floral prints, and shots of purple that added some much needed excitement to a palette that, in the wrong hands, can often become drab.
